Primary source for Tier II Infrastructure support of the tools and monitoring commercial environments for several global data centers. Responsible for Systems, Hardware and Platforms, ensuring proper prioritization of activities and coordination/communication of these activities with management, next tier support organizations, including Engineering and project stake holders. Provide application primary support for administration and support with BMC Bladelogic, HP SiteSeer, SiteScope and Citrix level 2 support.Main Responsibilities:• Building physical and/or virtual servers and hosts. • Provide administration and support for BMC Bladelogic• Opening SMS incident, change, and problem tickets.• Vendor Escalation and follow-up.• Server Decommissions - removal of storage and IP addresses from systems.• Vetting Change requests to prepare for approval and subsequent implementation - updating / writing deployment and reversion plans.• Assisting Engineers - command execution, log analysis, and general troubleshooting.• Timely resolution, performing day to day ‘break/fix’ activities on global systems/infrastructure.• Storage administration which includes allocation, reclamation, data migration, updates, proactive monitoring etc.• Planning and driving the application of routine operating systems updates, upgrades, bios, firmware, microcode or hardware updates on all supported systems.• Participate in Change management meetings, Readiness Reviews, Engineering/Comm Ops meetings.

In charge as technical team leader with infrastructure management for a Dev./QA 500 server environment. Responsibilities include system management and design with VMware ESX server, EMC Celerra NAS storage, 3Par SAN attached storage, Cisco Catalyst 3700, 6500 series switches, and Cyclades/Avocent console switches. Also provide system admin support and troubleshooting from various OS-type servers with Linux RedHat, SUN Solaris, HP-UX, IBM-AIX, and Microsoft Windows server. Created Bash shell scripts for better automation of system administration tasks and faster new host deployments with RedHat based platforms from using customized kickstart post install bash scripts. Actively involved in change management policies and controls using HP Service Center.

Created automation scripts for better ease of system administration and development of operations tools and processes with ASP, HTML, Javascript, and Visual Basic. Familiar with Sun, HP, EMC, Egenera, and VMware ESX based virtual servers. Primary focal point for disaster recovery type activity.
