•Research of raw materials/processes to develop/optimize performance and cost regarding customer demands and complaints•Proposal of long term projects to enhance the product properties, design, aesthetics minding cost limitations•Research of new diaper designs, their implentation analysis and working on production process conditions with the production team•Technical assistance to the problems encountered in fabrication sites (e.g. corrosion in wet wipe solution tanks)•Keeping up-to-date regulations regarding baby diapers, adult incontinence pads and wet wipes' raw materials

•Implementation of R&D projects on demand:•Development of a new process to colour interior and exterior of the expanded polystrene beads (EPS) uniformly without expanding or damaging them•Research of additives, and their formulation studies, which would improve the processability of the machines and therefore increasing output and decreasing energy consumption and cost

•Implementation of R&D projects on demand:•Implementation of basic corrosion test procedures to check corrosion resistance of VCI (Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor) added corrosion inhibiting films and packages•Trials of additives and novel processes to improve the hydrophilicity and softness of polypropylene nonwoven fabrics•Research on production process conditions of diaper backsheet PE films to improve the density and opacity in order to prevent leakage•Research of new raw materials and their suitable processes which would improve properties of the textile fabric (e.g. softness, tensile strength...)•Characterization of the produced nonwovens with microscopy (Optical microscope, SEM)

• Proposal of this start-up (to work along with Gürel Kimya)• Developed several formulations for a liquid masterbatch colorant to be used in polyurethane systems.• Coordinated literature research and their implementation and trials to the lab experiments as well as onto production scale.• Selection of suitable raw materials as well as additives and their purchase from the suppliers. • Selection of suitable lab and production machines to achieve the best properties of the paint and production route with considering in mind the cost of the whole system.• Design and execution of experiments to achieve and optimize the desired coloristic properties as well as suitability to the polyurethane systems with the trials of the masterbatch on actual polyurethane shoe sole production sites. • Analysis of the experimental results and defining the pros and cons. Comparison of the results with the former experiments and revising the formulation.• Literature research of alternative processing techniques to increase the product performance as well as reducing the costs.• Research of the governmental regulations on the provided raw materials to adjust to them and to avoid any risks based on governmental issues as well as human health.• Selection of and attendance to the relevant fair and exhibitions to build network and gather information on the technology and the market of the product.

• Research on the reasons of exhaust corrosion difference in China compared to Europe.• Design of experiments with alternating conditions to simulate the different conditions in two aforementioned places. • Execution of experiments in different environments (condensates) and analysis with characterization methods such as optical microscopy and polarization techniques.• Presentation of the results to the supervisors on regular meetings and suggestions to improve the results.

• Research and implementation of producing organic materials using mechanical methods such as hydrodynamic cavitation.• Literature research on producing dimethylcarbonate with the aforementioned method starting from the base materials urea and methanol via a one-pot synthesis. • Design of experiments and execution of them with different routes found in literature.• Analysis of the experimental results via characterization methods such as GC-MS and DSC.• Presentation of the results to the supervisors and regular meetings to improve the results.
