Production can be overwhelming. With so many roles and responsibilities needing to work together, each project becomes its own maze of challenges. Managing it all can feel like trying to control chaos. In my career, I’ve found that running effective productions is about understanding everyone’s role and how they fit. And in that time, one of the most important lessons I’ve uncovered is this: never set limits on what you can learn. Over my 20+ years in production, I’ve tried to learn just about every aspect of this industry. I have helped companies expand their post-production infrastructure as their workloads grow, helped teams of producers and editors navigate large projects with shifting schedules, and drafted workflows to simplify complex processes that helped agency partners work better together. For me, it’s all about seeing the big picture and how it all works together.
