Manage a local team using Agile methodology, and help in the development. This team was focused in developing a product from the beginning, which is supposed to replace the old SQM (monitor system). The product is a J2EE based application, deployed in IBM WebSphere running in a RedHat Cluster.

Manage a multi-site and multi-cultural team, with team members in several places in Portugal (Lisbon and Aveiro) using Agile methodology, and help in the development. This team was focused in the installation of the product; the solution was based in RedHat Cluster Suite, with an installation of a multi-node cluster with different server roles.

Define architecture and develop application Thresholder & Profiler, a network monitoring tool that defines thresholds, using also profiled values for monitoring the network. The system was designed in a J2EE platform for thresholding and profile module made in Perl. Manage a multi-site and multi-cultural team, with team members in several places: Portugal (Lisbon and Aveiro) and Germany (Düsseldorf) using Agile methodology.

Development and maintenance of data collection modules in C++, Perl and Java for a network monitoring system SQM.

Functional requirements analyses; J2EE Project development using several opensource frameworks(Hibernate, Struts, Tiles, JasperReports) and Portlet’s with JBoss Portal;Knowledge of the following Application Servers: Oracle (OC4J) and JBoss (JBoss 3.x e 4);

Development of a framework to generate and deploy mobile applications for PDA’s, using J2ME(client side) and J2EE(server side). Develop a project using the developed Framework that integrates RFID readers. Technologies used: RFID, OSGi, J2ME, J2EE.

Development of new functionalities in a trouble ticket system using Remedy from Action Request System to ONI Telecom (Telecommunications company).
