I established Integrated Environmental Planning to create multi-benefit projects that are responsive comprehensive goals of grant funders, as well as meeting NEPA/CEQA and permitting requirements. I collaborate with clients and technical analysts to produce interesting, inspired and technically accurate environmental strategies for project development.

At ESA I managed multi-disciplinary teams developing water, energy and community development projects, and prepared CEQA/NEPA environmental impact evaluations and permitting documents. I managed as many as fifteen analysts to prepare comprehensive EIRs, MNDs, EISs, and EAs. I also oversaw preparation of permitting applications to regulatory agencies.

At MIG, I directed a small planning group focused on rivers and watersheds conservation planning. I was I was responsible for marketing efforts, outreach strategies and overall product quality. Projects included restoration planning in the American River Parkway in Sacramento, a framework for IRWM planning in Los Angeles, the Rio Hondo River Watershed.

San Francisco Bay Area

At EDAW, I developed a five-year client relationship with Duke Energy that brought nearly $1 million in generation and transmission projects into the firm. Projects included; modernization of three coastal power plants, each with 1,060 megawatts of new combined-cycle equipment, and a 180 mile, 345 kV transmission line. I managed the visual resource team.
