I have volunteered at multiple high schools since 2012 to educate students about cyber security and prepare them to compete on a blue team. During this time, I have assisted approximately 200 students with threat intelligence, network security, incident response, vulnerability management, and security awareness.In 2015, I received the Career and Technical Education Recognition award for leading students toward STEM careers and teaching them about cyber defense.

Started a business whose goal was to provide functional web applications to users on a budget. Most of the work was volunteer work for public institutions and schools, including: East Region EMS & Trauma Care Council, Joel E. Ferris High School, and Friends of Ferris.Some of the paid projects included work for a video production company and making a custom blog for a poet (custom CMS from the ground up).

Started an organization called ExploitNation that was a community dedicated to advancing knowledge surrounding hacking and cyber security. Our community focused on learning together and publishing papers to PacketStorm Security, before we rebranded and created HaxMe in 2009. One of the community's core accomplishments was building a tool called Hackers Toolkit, which was a GUI for an offensive penetration testing framework.After rebranding to HaxMe, we focused on training users how to recognize and defend against common web application vulnerabilities and insecure coding practices (OWASP Top 10). Users gained access to a "hands on" training environment where they could see the vulnerabilities first-hand, exploit them, and learn how to patch them and prevent such attacks in the future. We turned this into a community of hackers and cyber security enthusiasts who built an informational network and helped one another learn.Hosted bulletin boards and IRC servers that housed thousands of active members and 100,000 unique posts over its time. Many posts were converted to publications hosted on Packet Storm Security.

Technical support internship for Spokane Public Schools. Setup close to 1,000 desktop computers, 20 computer labs, and successfully imaged all the systems with ghost casting and setting up security software. Created a master image with the appropriate applications, software configurations, and security policies and then casted clones to other computers on the network using Norton Ghost.
