Start-up of a digital signature management tool based on the standards published by Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia da Informação and ICP Brasil working group that roughly reproduce most of the aspects of European standards on the subject. I owned the CI project, GitFlow framework, AWS VCP, vSphere ESXi and many virtual machines running Windows Server as well.

Mission critical project in a 24x7 contract involving the national social security information system running applications daily used by approximately 24 thousand agents spread all over the country. Joined the team as Linux system engineer and contributed extensively to define a new cluster into their private cloud. Responsible for the smooth migration of their tools written in ksh, Perl, C running on SCO to Linux. Troubleshooting the vSphere and Linux performance issues way improved my skills.Maybe the most comprehensive projects in terms of departmental changes I have participated. Here the company had the challenge to build a brand new social security information system for the government of Mozambique. I joined this project as a system engineer responsible for the design of two datacenters based on TIA tier II standard. Also I designed and held a meeting to launch their private PKI used issue the credentials where bank agents and representatives from other government's departments were present to sign the act. Some of the technologies include racks and UPS by APC, Cisco Nexus series, HP Proliant series, VMWare private cloud, PRTG, Oracle DB and Windows Server services.

Company positioned as a added value partner of Digi International DGII (NASDAQ) I engaged as field application engineer of Linux programmable system on module product line. Public-speaking engagements in workshops to leverage adoption of 32-bits microprocessors and Linux. As software developer I delivered core requirements for a data logger commonly used in telephony audit systems, and that equipment were deployed at over 500 locations, mainly private banks. Were used C, Bash, POSIX multi-threading and Linux kernel to create the requirements I was responsible for. Based on similar knowledge I delivered many other requirements for other prototypes, and a challenging one was to build a SSL based VPN client into quite small Digi Connect ME system on module for a great energy utility company.

Responsible for the deployment of integrated solutions for web hosting, e-mail system, anti-spam, content filtering, basic internet services such as name resolution service and internet sharing, virtual private networks, printing and file sharing service, centralized authentication system using LDAP and backup system. Developed extensions for webmin, a web user interface for linux administration, and many plugins for the Nagios system monitoring software.
