I have managed services for a number of large customers in the areas of Mining, Insurance, Manufacturing, Finance and Government. This involved supporting over 80 000 users, 50 000 workstations, 500 servers and associated infrastructure.I have passed 7 Microsoft exams that give me the accreditation of Microsoft Enterprise Administrator Windows Server 2008, Microsoft Server Administrator on Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Administrator on Windows 7. In 2013 I have completed a Master in Management (Information Technology) and certification in ITIL foundations. Last year I have completed Citrix certification on virtualisation to expert level and VMWare data centre virtualisation to professional level.I am an energetic and effective manager, with a record of delivering projects to tight timelines and budgets. I have experience in managing application portfolios, vendors, cloud based systems, data centre and network operations, budgeting, projects, lifecycle and day to day operations.I have strong management skills backed by a technical background as I have worked in service desk, field services, project / program management, service management, team lead and as a senior manager.
