As a Brand Manager for AGI, I work with automotive dealers throughout the United States that are renovating or constructing new stores to assure compliance with manufacturers' facility branding requirements. Previously, FLAHERTYarchitecture LLC specialized in providing architectural design and consulting services to the automotive industry and to select commercial clients. Work included facility planning for multiple Atlanta-area automobile dealerships, interior renovations of commercial facilities as an associate of Briggs Properties, Inc., and serving as a consulting architect for Facility Design Services with design review of proposed interior and exterior renovations to Hyundai dealerships throughout the United States.For 15 years, I owned and managed The Zenner Group with David Zenner, a small architecture firm located in Atlanta, serving as Vice President and Project Manager/Architect. The firm grew from two people to 13 during my tenure. The Zenner Group was a nationally recognized firm specializing in the design of automobile dealerships and related facilities.After leaving The Zenner Group in June 2006, I served as Project Manager in the Housing & Mixed Use and Science Studios at Lord Aeck & Sargent in Midtown Atlanta. Responsibilities included oversight and direction of all phases of architectural services, from conceptual design through construction administration, for multi-family apartment and condominium projects throughout Georgia, as well as research and teaching facilities in Georgia and North Carolina.In April, 2008, Chrysler LLC asked me to return to the automotive industry, assisting their Field Engineering team to manage the design and construction of facilities for Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge dealerships in the eastern US. I worked with Chrysler through October, 2008.Community affiliations have been an important part of my Atlanta-based professional and personal life, where I have served on numerous neighborhood committees and review boards.Specialties: As a consulting architect, I have been involved in the design and construction of automobile dealerships and related facilities, for a variety of auto manufacturers, since 1992. I also have extensive design and project management experience for a variety of project types, including multi-family, retail, and institutional/research facilities.
