Execute preplanned lessons in teachers absence.

• Develop curriculum for beginning and advanced welding classes.• Provide leadership opportunities for students.• Develop increased knowledge of careers in Welding related fields.• Teach work readiness skills.• Teach a design and problem solving approach to planning projects.• Write and implement annual budgets.• Write purchase orders and schedule deliveries of shop materials. • Work with advisory committee.• Develop routine maintenance schedule for shop equipment.• Maintain and repair shop equipment and facility.• Plan for major acquisitions and replacement of shop equipment.• Work with students and local business to find solutions to real problems in Manufacturing.

• Responsible for layout and construction of automated processing equipment designed and marketed by employer.• Duties included CNC programming, CNC punch operation, Blueprint reading, fabrication, welding, and assembly of all parts including pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical control equipment.• Perform field maintenance and trouble shooting of equipment marketed by employer . • Assist Engineering Department in prototype design and construction• Responsible for training of new employees
