Global Director for the academic program at JMP, a SAS company dedicated to data analytics, visualization and machine learning software development and application. In this role I lead a team of analytics experts in advising and mentoring faculty and researchers on the use of statistics, advanced analytics, and data visualization methodologies in teaching and learning. I also manage a team of academic account managers who empower these customers with JMP software. Together our team is a force for good by equipping curious people with the tools and knowledge they need to get answers to their data-driven questions. One of the most gratifying aspects of my work is seeing the positive impact we make on teaching and learning. Statistics and analytics tools need not be difficult or mysterious and our product and program has flourished in opening the door and turning on the light for tens of thousands of students at several hundred universities around the globe. Prior to joining and starting the program at SAS, I was Editor, Publisher and then VP at Thomson where I managed product acquisitions, product management and publication of textbooks and software for their Mathematics and Statistics disciplines in higher education markets.
