I am educated to B-Tec standard. I originally studied Graphic Design and Media, but after deliberating which direction to move in, I steered, quite by chance, into the Supply Chain.I have been fortunate enough to work in large blue chip companies such as Lanlogic Computer Systems (1999) which later became Globalteq Limited, McCormick Tractors Limited (2002), The Wavin Group/Hepworth (2007) and Clyde Bergemann (2009). I have been taught many aspects of supply chain Management including “flexible thinking”.I have a lot of “hands on” experience in the Supply Chain including:Procurement, Purchasing, Buyer, Logistics & Warehousing, Data Analysis, BOM Analyst/BOM, Engineering and Expediting.I have worked in the following sectors:IT and Technical, Agricultural, Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing and Aerospace.One of my main achievements was to change the purchasing system efficiencies at The Wavin Group from 59% to a staggering 91% using simple tools, and a more effective use of communication between departments.I was formerly a member of the C.I.P.S (Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply) and looking to renew my membership soon. On a different note, in 2008, I used my own personal skillsets as a musician and multimedia artist to create TV themes (opening and closing credits) for TV shows in the American Markets. A use of self control, being a self-starter, being analytical whilst maintaining total perseverance were skills used.
