As partner in this start-up, I worked closely with the CEO in planning and financing of all aspects of running a retail shop in San Francisco.

-In the position of AP/AR Supervisor, I managed and supported three Accounts Payable Specialists and three Accounts Receivable Specialists. Oversaw the creation, processing and completion of the weekly payment runs to vendors. Oversew the AR process and timely collection of receivables from customers.Worked closely with the Controller and Assistant Controller in communicating finance needs and expectations with the field. Maintained vendor and customer (hard) files and worked with GL Accountant in maintaining vendor master files in SAP. Managed and processed year-end Marketing, Sales and G&A accruals.Processed 1099s at year end for all eligible vendors. Was part of an SAP re-implementation for the company working closely with the IT team and consultants on SAP projects.-As Staff Accountant, worked with the Controller and Accounting Manager to prepare and make journal entries, account reconciliations and support for month end, quarter end and year end reporting. Each year I worked closely, with the Accounting team, to support all yearly audit activities, including creatingschedules, pulling backup for transactions and creating narratives for accounting procedures.

All around bookkeeping, including paying all bills and all payroll administration.

Created and managed a Supervisor team which involved facilitating weekly Supervisor meetings as well as evaluating Supervisor job performance.
