Provide editorial and production leadership to all News staff (across 5 cities), especially for the channel but also to the digital editorial teams as required-Liase with all other departments within Fox Sports and News Corp, as necessary, and develop relationships with key personnel internally and externally at other networks -Organise regular meetings with senior personnel to ensure the continued smooth running of the 24 hour news channel -Ensure budgets are adhered to and sensible fiscal restraint is shown at all times -Oversee the rostering of all editorial and production staff -Manage annual performance reviews -Provide skills development to all staff -Plan coverage of major sporting events (Olympics, World Cups, State of Origin, AFL Grand Final) -Utilise social media technology to get our content to viewers and assist with breaking news -Conceptualise ideas for program content (Created Fox Sports shows Bill & Boz, AFL Tonight, NRL Tonight, Game Day Live, Full Time Live, Fox Fix)

--Briefing Fox Sports Correspondents and Reporters on the daily plan for the 24 hour Sports News Channel -Providing advice to and leading the editorial team, which includes monitoring and developing their performance to ensure standards are enhanced-Work with all departments of the channel to maximise profile, value and perceptions-Liaising with Fox Sports International and News Corp affiliates worldwide to bring an international voice to our bulletins-Work in tandem with Fox Sports Channel's Executive Producers to leverage talent and resources for the respective sports -Conceptualise ideas for program content and suggest and implement changes to the structure of existing programs to increase audiences

To create bulletins for a 24 hour network that both inform and engage viewers, providing them with the latest sports news which is accurate and entertaining. Duties include planning and developing story ideas for the channel, finding statistics for both on-air, active and social media and check journalists work so it is accurate and includes the most up to date information.

To produce 10-15 minutes of daily sports news for New Zealand’s top rated nightly national news. Duties include driving content and the rundown for each night’s show, assigning reporters around the country to cover stories, writing anchor intros and promos that air before and during the news, oversee journalists stories so they are factually, grammatically and legally accurate, deciding on the show’s graphic elements and working with management on budget issues. Special live event coverage produced: 2006 Commonwealth Games coverage, 2007 Rugby World Cup, International Rugby (Australia v NZ), NRL (Warriors), V8 Supercar races, Boxing events, New Zealand Ironman race, 2008 Beijing Olympic Coverage.

Helped develop a late night sports news/magazine show on one of New Zealand’s national networks. Duties included driving content and the rundown of every night’s show, organizing talent for live interview segments, writing anchor intros, voiceovers and promos for the show, overseeing journalists stories so they are factually, grammatically and legally accurate, working with naming rights sponsor on promotions and editing promos and musical montages for the show.

Working in the studio department I worked on such live shows as Sports Center, NFL Primetime and Baseball Tonight. Duties included producing highlights, field stories,Top Plays and music montages, writing stories and the opening teases for Sports Center.
