Grew up in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, which is near the famed "Mayberry" (Mt. Airy), Andy Griffith's home town. Great place to grow up, with a great extended family of aunts and uncles, wonderful mother and father, and one younger sister, my pride and joy, and with whom I am very close.After leaving to go to college at age 18, I have lived in many different places, Chapel Hill, NC, San Antonio, Texas, Phoenix, Arizona, California, Alaska, Maine, Ohio, Tennessee, Florida, Midway Island in the Pacific, Portugal (Azores), and of course, as almost everyone of my age, Vietnam.After retiring from the U. S. Air Force, began a second career in the real estate industry, building shopping centers and residential communities.Active in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, located in Cornelius, North Carolina.
