I bring more than two decades of experience to my role as Process Engineer at In-Pipe Technologies. By executing the planning, design and construction engineering of water and wastewater projects for state, municipal and industrial clients, I’ve developed an innate knowledge of the wastewater industry, experience that’s given me insight into helping our clients develop long-term programs that provide a seamlessly high level of service without the need for jumps in user costs. While most people may not think about sewage that often, everyone seems to have a stake in it at some time. Operators in the industry need solutions to specific problems every day, and I work with them to get to the real issues and develop systems that continue to do their job 24/7. Public officials and administrators try to run operations at their utmost cost effectiveness. Most of our system reduce total operating costs, and if we can't document that we provide recommendations that can include removing the system. The general public are usually successful at not thinking about what we do unless they are faced with a rate increase and it becomes important, or a sewer failure causes a backup in their basement and then it is the most important thing they face. Our systems help delay and sometimes reduce the need for rate increases and we document this with regular reports using the community's data. Our systems also prolong the life of infrastructure so that sewer failure may never happen. Because I spend my days working with water, is it any wonder I enjoy spending time on the water when I’m out of the office? During warmer months, you can probably find me sailing.
