He served for five years on the Board Directors for the Cancer Survivor's Park (a space in Downtown Greenville for learning, healing and hope for anyone touched by cancer). He is a long-standing board member of CommunityWorks SC, a nonprofit to help members build assets, improve their credit and access affordable solutions not previously available. He is a long-standing member of the Poinsett Club's Membership Committee, Audit and Finance Committee and now on the Board of Governors.Curt an Eagle Scout.
