Build the machine/equipment to the design and customer expectations.Coordinate with the customer to complete a Facility Acceptance Test (FAT) of the equipment. Manage all issues with the FAT test and receive customer approval. Setup shipment of machine/equipment to customer. Setup and coordinate with the customer for the Site Acceptance Test (SAT) at the customer facility, arrange travel for all support personnel to complete the SAT testing. Manage all issues with SAT testing at customer location. Receive customer approval of machine/equipment from SAT testing is complete.Complete all financial reporting once machine is approval and operational at customer site.

Manage all aspects of newly ordered production line equipment from design, assembly, and automation to meet internal and external expectations. Full production lines would vary in cost from $350,000 to $2.5 million.Continuously improve internal processes to maintain the budget and timeline of the machines/equipment. Ensure customer satisfaction with all machines/equipment upon delivery and that it meets their expectations and requirements. Ensure all process documentation has been properly filled out and uploaded to the companies traceability location. Organize all documentation to export machines/equipment to sister companies in Mexico, including working with the logistic team to create a NAFTA certification, purchase orders, bill of lading, and commercial Invoices for shipment.

Interpret customer specifications for packaging and shipment of live class 9 airbag modules. Create customized shipping containers specifically to meet customer requirements and specifications. Certify containers to meet Department of Transportation (DOT) and United Nations (UN) standards for shipping live material. Receive customer approval for packaging during pre production and final production shipments. Continuously improve packaging designs on various Value Engineering/Value Analysis (VEVA) teams to create a cost savings of $500,000 annually.

Manage a 120,000 square foot warehouse with a crew of 8 employees including a warehouse lead, lift operators and a full time driver. Create and oversee a logistic hub to organize and consolidate raw material from numerous suppliers in the United States into one shipping container and onto their final Autoliv facilities in Mexico and Asia Pacific regions, generating an annual cost savings over $100,000.Assist in launching a new online logistic system for consolidating original supplier shipment documentation necessary for tracking and receiving to each Autoliv Facility.Consolidate five off site warehouses into one location from an original 220,000 square feet to 120,000 square feet with an annual cost savings of $50,000. Create a recycling process system to reduce the amount of waste from tested airbag modules and their components, generating annual cost savings with recycling and waste management of over $100,000.

Manage from one to six production lines at a time with a total of 50 to 100 production line associates. Continuously taught the Autoliv Production System (APS), a form of the Toyota Production System (TPS), to all associates. Encouraging and enforcing the following standards:First time quality in every aspect of the production lines. Safety and Ergonomics techniques of having a flexible workforce trained to work on every machine in any capacity and to have short rotation schedules for each working location to reduce any repetitive injuries. 5S standards of Sorting, Systemizing, Shining, Standardizing, and Sustaining which is an organizational system that is used for everything on the production line, including tools and supplies.Elimination of waste (MUDA) such as waiting, overproduction, rework, motion, over processing, inventory, and conveyance. Just in Time (JIT) techniques of production. Continuous improvement through Kaizens which are improvement suggestions and ideas.

Manage a team of 6 to 8 employees.Responsible to oversee that all safety protocols were followed while handling all live material which includes using all PPE equipment.Teach and train all personnel on safety aspects of equipment used in R&D area. Responsible to oversee assembly of all engineering inflator build and test sheets for live propellant testing.Assembly of all inflator to be accurate and delivered to the test bay area on time and on schedule.

Manage two different sub assembly areas on the second shift in support of the main production lines. Screen wrap area which had 10 employees and the dye penetrate area which had 3 employees. Screen wrap area was specific to creating wrapped filters for the production inflators used in airbag modules.Responsible to oversee all safety aspects of the area and to teach all employees how to safely operator equipment. Responsible for first time quality of all production filters being sent to the production lines. Responsible for all produced wrapped filters were accurate to design specification. Responsible for all production numbers to meet the production lines demands. Dye penetrate area was a non destruct testing area to specifically look for any defects in the main aluminum parts used for the production lines. Responsible to oversee all safety aspects of the area and to teach all employees how to safely operator equipment. Responsible for first time quality of all production aluminum parts being sent to the production lines. Responsible for all production numbers to meet the production lines demands.
