About Curtis Allen

I am an experienced, motivated and dynamic secondary educator with a Masters of Education in Technology-Enhanced Teaching. I have eleven years experience teaching high school juniors and seniors in psychology, government, American history, and History Through Film, a class I successfully proposed and created curriculum for using a variety of technology standards and state standards. I possess outstanding presentation, teaching and leadership styles, and am able to adapt to an ever changing technology based classroom. I am passionate and excited about the growth of technology in the classroom and also see the opportunity for students to gain critical 21st century skills through digital citizenship platforms and programs.I have experience training and utilizing 1 to 1 technology with students in my classroom using both Windows and Macintosh laptops and tablets. As head of our building technology committee, I lead a team that reviews, consults, and analyzes technology and software requests from our faculty.
