My professional career began with Nordstrom in Customer Service Experiences in October 2020. After a fast six months, my ability to open up credit accounts for customers quickly allowed me to progress to a sales role where I've remained while studying at the University of Utah. While working at Nordstrom, I've always carried a strong emphasis on maintaining a positive customer experience whether offering my assistance to solve complex issues for the customer or ensuring the customer's awareness of ongoing promotions and potential benefits. During this time, I've been able to submit over 25 credit card applications and opened more than $300,000 in lines of credit. In addition to taking pride in opening credit accounts for Nordstrom, my extensive role as a salesperson has taught me skills including but not limited to customer outreach, digital sales, and visual merchandizing. In search of professional enrichment, my experience in the Nordstrom Kid's department has allowed me to take on managerial roles consisting of maintaining mismatched shoes at Nordstrom, being first in line to support our fulfillment team, and assisting our operations team in our experimental implementation of RFID to preserve inventory accuracy.During my academic career, I graduated from Brighton High School with a 3.9 GPA and an AP Capstone diploma. Upon graduation, I was accepted into the University of Utah with a flagship scholarship. I expect to graduate on time in the Spring of 2025 with a Bachelor of Science degree while double majoring in Writing/Rhetoric Studies and Political Science. I've also been enrolled in the Honors College at the University of Utah where I've been exposed to more participation and discussion-based classes. Throughout my time at the University of Utah, I've been able to maintain a 3.9 GPA and uphold the requirements of my scholarship. I also have volunteered for Utah's hosting of MUN conventions for high schools in Utah and have led every committee I've been a part of since my freshman year.
