Reported directly to the President. Had overall responsibility and led the team from the conception to implementation of wound care and hyperbaric departments. Upon completion of market research, met with hospital administration and presented joint venture proposals. Created operational business proformas and negotiated management contracts. Worked with architects and construction companies to erect a facility that would meet JCAHO standards and other accreditation organizations, also complied with state and local medical facility requirements. Hired staff, including clinic administrator, nurses, hyperbaric and wound care technicians and supportstaff.Negotiated purchases of diagnostic equipment, hyperbaric chambers, and all general medical equipment. Planned and directed all aspects of the organization's operational policies, procedures, objectives, and initiatives to ensure operating efficiency and financial strength. Oversaw training of entire staff, covering the critical functions of chamber operations, safety and patient care. Managed the relationship between the organization and hospital. Directly responsible for hiring and contracting clinical physicians, ensuring that medical billing is appropriately coded and billed.
