Responsible for the planning and implementation of growth-related projects including migrating all IT systems from local applications to cloud-based. Specifically, the small business-oriented applications for inventory, purchase orders, human capital management, and inventory management were transitioned to new cloud-based applications. Employees were provided the ability to access via the web or specific apps for the activities specific to their roles. This includes expense reporting, vendor management and employee onboarding.

Provides program management for information technology projects.Recent Major Contributions:• 2014 – 2017: Engaged as a Senior Project Manager in the IT PMO as part of the merger of Johnson Controls and Tyco International. Recent projects include the implementation of Oracle Essbase to replace the sunsetted Hyperion Enterprise financial suite ($10 million budget,) and the migration of various existing/legacy applications to new environments as part of the merger consolidation.• 2014: Engaged as an IT & PMO Project Manager for OneBlood, the largest blood bank in Florida. The project was to deploy a new information system designed to facilitate the cross matching of units of donated blood to the patients in need of a transfusion at various hospitals and other facilities across Florida and South Georgia. The system implemented, Mediware, is recognized as a 510k medical device with the FDA and therefore had to meet the stringent regulations required for its implementation.• 2012-2013: Provided program management leadership to Beckman Coulter Life Sciences in Miami, FL for the launch of their newest flow cytometry instrument, “AQUIOS.” Responsibilities included management of the overall program schedule, issue resolution, and the transfer from R&D to Manufacturing, including supply chain development. In addition to the instrument launch, the launch of a new line of AQUIOS-branded reagents was a key part of the program management role • 2011-2012: Led a Lean Manufacturing initiative for Visy Paper and Recycling in Brisbane, Australia. Resided in Australia for several months as a Lean consultant at five distinct paper and recycling facilities.

Managed international project teams comprised of both consultants and clients. Deployed project management offices and project management methodologies.Major Contributions:• Successfully delivered a corporate acquisition project for OneBeacon Insurance in Boston, MA. CGU Insurance, a commercial provider, was acquired by OneBeacon in 2001. As part of the sale the CGU company name had to be changed to OneBeacon Insurance. Updated thousands of documents and hundreds of legacy IT applications that contained references to the old corporate name. Closely coordinated with the executive team to ensure that all changes satisfied the new corporate branding. Successfully completed entire program 9 months ahead of schedule.• Managed and delivered an IT project for AstraZeneca PLC near Manchester, England. AstraZeneca deployed Windows 2000 software to the 10,000 users of its R&D division. Lived abroad for six months and was assigned as Project Manager responsible for the global upgrade within Research & Development. Each R&D operating unit represented a physical site located in one of four countries spanning both Europe and North America. Managed the project including the communication among all team members in each of the four countries. One of the key challenges of the project was managing cultural differences between the United States, England, Scotland and Sweden.

Delivered leadership development seminars as a certified program leader in Lean, Problem Analysis, Decision Analysis, Project Management, and Human Performance.Major Contributions:• Successfully assisted Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals in Nutley, NJ resolve a consent decree imposed by the Food and Drug Administration resulting from concerns found with different manufacturing processes. Worked with the client to ensure improvement and transparency in the process observations made by the FDA.• Managed a business process improvement project for Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. Led a client team through a Lean project at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The goal of this project was to streamline and bring consistency to the manufacturing investigation process within the Warner Lambert organization which was being acquired by Pfizer.
