Current•Responsible for project management at assigned airports, including coordination, site survey/validation, design support, communication, developing statement of work bid packages, construction oversight, site/equipment layout evaluation, witness test/checkout, site clean-up and restoration. •Required to guide or direct the daily activities for geographically assigned teams ranging in size from 2-10 consisting of site technicians, including subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and/or local general contractors. •Responsible for conducting a site survey with a design engineer and developing design alternatives/installation plans for the new TSA equipment.•Responsible for facilitating communications and coordination between TSA HQ, local TSA, airport stakeholders, operations management, General Subcontractors, other TSA Vendors, airport authority representatives and state/ local government officials. • Exercised expert judgment and assessed project, construction, and equipment installation best practices to conduct requirements analysis; reviewed design drawings, specifications, and deliverables; support network connectivity construction, installation, and acceptance testing; and overseen site clean-up and remediation. •Monitored the project schedule and kept the team appraised of any possible delays or modified plans to avoid any unnecessary costs to the customer. •Required to guide or direct the daily activities for assigned teams ranging in size from 2-10 consisting of site technicians, including subcontractors, riggers, vendors, suppliers, and/or local general contractors while on site. • Physical work locations varied depending on the assigned airports and the deployment schedule. The position required up to 75%+ travel to airport locations as assigned. Some work required a non-standard work shift (during evening or weekends) to accommodate TSA requirements for minimal disruption to airport operations.
