I graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Aerospace in 2013. I then decided to stay an extra semester at CSUN to enrich my skill set; the motivating course was ME531 Mechanical Design with Composites. Ever since discovering composite materials (specifically fiberglass, Kevlar, and carbon fiber) my goal has been to learn as much as I can about these materials, and the manufacturing processes associated, so I can put them to use as efficiently and beneficially as possible. I was fortunate enough to land a Junior Structural Engineering position at XCOR Aerospace in 2014. For the most part it has proven to be the dream job I strove for upon graduating. I am currently an Engineer 1 at XCOR Aerospace, operating under Brandon Litt, working specifically on the Lynx Mk.1 and its components.
