Responsibilities* On behalf of the Brand Managers, act as the knowledge resource for the production of in-store retail marketing collateral.* Work with the customer to offer creative solutions that support print production and marketing campaign objectives.* Provide print procurement and coordination of all retail Point of Purchase, Direct Mail, Product Packaging, and Display projects to include setting timelines, defining accurate estimate specifications, supplier negotiations, kit fulfillment and logistic distribution.* Coordinate efforts with the customers marketing group to gather all of the print requirements and data files for current and anticipated projects. Provide guidance to the customer regarding the print manufacturing process and the various requirements needed to efficiently (cost and time) produce print and print related collateral.* Source external vendors to produce print collateral. Build network of print outsourcers to use for print projects. Submit RFP/RFQ requests to vendors and make recommendations to the customer on which providers will meet the needs for quality and delivery for print campaigns.* Oversee the entire print lifecycle for ongoing projects from the initial requirements gathering, vendor selection and coordination with manufacturing, to final delivery of products. Work with vendors to ensure SLA’s are met and products are received by the customer on time. Make recommendations to the customer to move print work to other sites/vendors when issues arise.* Work with customers to facilitate prototypes and development of custom print pieces. May coordinate the outsourcing development of prototypes.

Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, logistics and/or distribution of products.Manage staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties.Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with organization officials, and staff members as necessary.Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.Monitor businesses and agencies to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits.

Responsible for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the work of skilled employees engaged in providing design services, typesetting, digital printing, digital imaging and graphic production finishing activities.Establishing production schedules and priorities for daily operations, managing personnel and equipment resources to provide high quality graphics and printing services, analyzing operational problems, reviewing policies and procedures and developing and recommending changes to improve efficiency.Consult with clients to determine needs, develop artistic and creative proposals to meet identified needs, supervise the completion of artwork ready for press, manage digital workflow including variable printing from supplied data, and manage job completion from preflight to scheduling of work to meet delivery deadlines while establishing quality control in each area of production until completion.

Perform image scanning, image manipulation, photo compositing, photo retouching and special effects on oversized scanning system. Operate a series of oversized printers and scanners for reproduction. (E.g. Encad, Xerox, HP, Arizona, Roland, etc.) Create printed materials for clients on a high volume basis using black and white or multicolor presses.

Coordinate print production from pick up to delivery of completed work, evaluate work for quality of results; assign specific jobs to certain employee's depending on knowledge and/or experience.Build client relations through customer service and quick problem solving to ensure work is done on time and to client satisfaction conserving company overhead.Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance or minor repairs, train less senior press operators and ensure sufficient inventory of printing materials and supplies.
