After successfully founding and operating Core Conditions, Inc. an opportunity presented itself in 2008 to expand our operations by taking over another local non-profit. Dr. Denise Novell who founded DN Associates in 1994 was ready to leave the organization but hoped to have her hard work continue so that several youth in the program would not be displaced and a core staff of 25 individuals would not be left looking for new jobs.The has been a true challenge as we acclimate ourselves to the culture of the organization and look to instill some of the qualities that have made Core Conditions, Inc. so successful.

Co-founded this organization in 2004 with Jad Turner, LMFT who serves as our Clinical Director and Jennifer Preston, MFT who is our administrator. We opened our first group home for adolescent males in the foster care system in April 2005.Since that time we have expanded by opening a second facility serving the same client population in Lemoore, CA and taking over the operations of DN Associates, another local non-profit operating two RCL-14 group homes in Fresno, CA.We are proud of the success we have had with the youth who have come through our program. Every young man who has entered our program and been in our care at the time of their 18th birthday has elected to stay and complete their high school education. A rarity in the foster care system.We have accomplished this success in large part to a very dedicated group of employees, many who have been with us since our infancy and an administrative team very involved in the daily lives of the youth in the program.

Provided individualized academic instruction to at-risk youth. Graduated the highest number of students during tenure. Worked on adapting curriculum for individualized instruction. Participated in WASC accreditation and was Vice President of Charter Advisory Council.
