About Curtis Dunn

After a wonderful and satisfying 31 year career in the U.S. Navy as both an Enlisted Submariner and a P-3 Orion Naval Flight Officer and a 10 year stint with the WA Department of Licensing and WA Administrative Office of the Courts in the IT field, I have pivoted to apply my skillsets to Infrastructure Asset Management at Thurston County WA Public Works! From "turning wrenches in the trenches" to senior management, the Navy has provided me the opportunity to develop the leadership skills required in a diverse workforce and to use those skills to ensure organizational success. WA state DOL and AOC introduced me to the Customer Relationship Management side of IT and understanding how software systems are developed, tested, implemented and maintained. Getting to setup the Infrastructure Asset Management Program at TCPW is a challenge I couldn't resist. Looking forward to ensuring the Citizens of Thurston County get the best return on their infrastructure investments, be it roads, parks or utilities! A new industry, a new organization and a new program...Let's go!
