I am partner in CMS’s Technology & Media team and a key member of the Lifesciences group, with over 15 years' experience supporting clients in these sectors. As a business-led legal advisor I am particularly interested in the lifesciences industry, emerging technologies and arrangements driven by intellectual property considerations. During my career I have worked within global technology and pharmaceutical companies, an international research institute and a leading global health charity. I have significant experience of structuring and leading complex commercial transactions involving IP and regulatory components and advising on the IP aspects of corporate transactions, and I am highly motivated by the potential to maximise value for my clients in these areas. A pragmatist at heart, I always look to adopt a commercial approach to solving client problems. I most enjoy working collaboratively with clients to understand their current priorities and future strategies, and support them in accelerating the execution of these. I am trusted and sought out by clients and colleagues, who appreciate my plain speaking, challenge and commitment to going the extra mile to achieve a successful outcome.
