Here I was responsible for collecting core and water samples via daily routes of up to 300 miles and delivering them back to our lab and lab prep areas. I was then able to assist in the lab by testing the samples for minerals and deposits. I assisted in the lab prep area by organizing, testing, and pulverizing the core samples.

In this position I was responsible for maintaining over 40 natural gas compressors by changing oil, performing minor routine maintenance, and overseeing any spill/clean up events.

This position included the duties of leak detection, repairing and replacing line leaks, and assisting well operators and instrumentation controllers in well and equipment hook ups, compressor maintenance, and pigging ops.I walked miles and miles of pipeline from the Spruce Knob, WV area to Ohiopyle, PA. I also drove a ton truck pulling a mini excavator and then operated the excavator to fix leaks and replace lines. We normally maintained lines from 2in to 12in, steel and plastic. Therefore, we also became accustomed to pressure testing, cutting/threading steel and butt-welding plastic. We also handled dehys, compressors, and pigging in many areas including Marshall and Wetzel counties in WV.

At Dominion Hope, I walked line and detected leaks, fixed leaks, welded plastic pipe, applied anodes, hooked up house taps, performed road bores, and assisted consumers with household gas issues.
