Projects and responsibilities include:AWS Organizations Multi-Account Project: - Lead engineer on project - Leveraging Serverless Architecture and AWS Organizations to automate the creation of new AWS accounts and AWS Alexa skill infrastructure within the new account. - Creating automated processes that leverage StackSets to deploy infrastructure into accounts - Developing a ReactJS front end to allow users to initiate the creation of new accounts and define the tooling that should be created in the account. - Created an auditing framework for enforcing account guardrails & best practices via monitoring CloudTrail/CloudWatch eventsCI/CD: - Used Docker & ECS to perform CI/CD builds & deployments when code is pushed to source control - Created CI/CD tooling using Serverless architecture that allows users to group source controlled CloudFormation templates of their choice into a workflow and deploy into AWS. Included an approval system that allows AWS administrators to sign off on the resources that are to be created. Allows users to create & manage test suits to run against the created AWS resources to ensure they correctly function. - Configured Jenkins jobsCost Savings: - Created cost savings tooling using Serverless architecture to allow users to create schedules to automate scheduled management of autoscaling settings & start/stop EC2 & RDS resourcesLeadership: - Mentoring new engineers AWS Management: - Reviewing CloudFormation templates to ensure architecture meets company standards - Administrating AWS accounts used by multiple teams. - Managing IAM policies to ensure least privilege. - Configuring & troubleshooting VPCs and other AWS resources as needed. - Creating Route53 records for new applications
