I shared the stories of Sunshine Health employees who provide individualized healthcare solutions to members. Sunshine Health is part of Centene Corp., a Fortune 100 company. The mission is to transform the health of the community, one person at a time.

Tampa General Hospital is a leading hospital in the Tampa Bay area and is deeply committed to safety and innovation. I was proud to work closely with the hospital's COVID-19 Task Force to provide helpful and accurate information during the pandemic. I also wrote about TGH's ground-breaking research, expert medical performance and lives saved. At various times I managed the TGH internal newsletter, maintained the Twitter feed, wrote for numerous internal and external channels, and worked closely with news media. Proud that my TGH colleagues and I were named a Ragan and PR Daily "Public Relations Team of the Year" in 2019.

At BluePearl Veterinary Partners, the staff includes surgeons, oncologists and ER specialists — all for your pets. I shared these veterinarians' inspiring work with national, regional and local media. And I developed communications strategies to show that BluePearl is the nationwide leader in specialty and emergency veterinary medicine.

As a reporter, I wrote about Florida's legal system, state and local politics, NASA, the Florida Legislature, science, social services and local governments. For several years I wrote a column about local politics. My work was honored by the Florida Bar, the Florida Society of Newspaper Editors, the Society of Professional Journalists/Tampa Bay and the Casey Journalism Center for Children and Families. I am proud of receiving the John S. Knight Journalism Fellowship, which allowed me to spend the 1997-98 academic year studying at Stanford University.
