I've now been at Egis for four years, leading the Wellington Transport Team, bringing 30+ years of experience as a roading and geometric designer, project manager, project director and Engineer to Contract in New Zealand the United Kingdom and Hong Kong. I'm also the Office Manager for the Wellington Office, which I'm really enjoying. Road safety and improvement is my passion, I'm a qualified road safety auditor, and always endeavour to make sure that solutions proposed will be safe ones. I'm recognised in Calibre as being a geometric design and road safety specialist, and I'm often consulted on for advice on design standards and road safety issues. I have a empathetic view of things and a mutual respect and understanding of people’s views and concerns, whether that is members of the public, the design team or client.I lead Wellingtons Infrastructure (Transportation) team for Egis.I hold the following position across various projects: Project Director, Project Manager and Design Manager, Engineers Representative, Engineer to Contract and Technical Leader.I'm a project manager, design manager and team leader on numerous transportation projects, such road improvements, new roads, feasibility projects and road safety audits. I'm recognised in Calibre as being a geometric design and safety advisor/specialist, and is often consulted on for advice on design standards and road safety issues.I have a gained an excellent working relationship with many clients in particular NZTA, HCC, WCC, MDC, UHCC, KCDC, PCC, HDC, PNC, TCC & CentrePort, where I'm respected and seen as a ‘Go to person’.
