A great part of the industry that allows me to be an extension of 120+ wineries, breweries & cideries across the valley. With local knowledge of both wines & wineries as well as international experience with an importing agency & travelling to various wine producing regions all past experiences come into play. From transportation to inventory management, barrel management to wine clubs there is never a dull day.

I’ve become more of the Inter Departmental Verbal Communications Liason at the winery. From chauffeuring grapes around the valley, to ensuring safe transportation of product & supplies to, from & around the entire property everyday is full of new challenges. Starting out as a Driver, I moved into more time around the cellar & warehouse. Forklift driving, tractor driving, loading & unloading trucks, moving of barrels, stacking & organizing warehouse schematics, pyramid cellaring, assisting with daily onsite operations including maintenance of equipment, landscaping & inventory controls.

A small 5 acre organic vineyard growing Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer & Ehrenfelser. Operating various tractors, loading & unloading trucks, netting (applying & taking down), pruning.The vineyard has been sold, so this contract is finished.

Working with a small team to create an entertaining & educational experience focused around Agave based spirits produced in Mexico. There are many myths & lots of false information being distributed about Tequila, Mezcal & Raicilla. We aim to provide a neutral ground, informative tasting classes helping each participant to find that 'style' of Agave that they enjoy the most.

Pedal Pub Canada West was created in 2019. The unique pedalling powered patios which were made in Amsterdam have been putting smiles on people faces for years as they roll around major cities across the continent. The initial launch of the brand was done in Calgary, AB where headquarters are. Upon the launch of the brand, there was a goal to also test a market on a smaller scale in what was projected to be an ideal location...the western wine producing region of Canada. Our goal was to try a different, scaled down approach, understanding that a different region & a different tour idea would be much different than the customary plan. The challenges would be different but could the same results be achieved. This was the goal of the project which is planned to be a 3+ year project.

We work with the cruise ships that come to the port in Puerto Vallarta. My job is to inform and educate the people about Tequila & help them find their favorites to enjoy at home, with their friends. It's a 100% commission based position which increases the desire to close.

Responsible for bike rentals, managing the Bici Bucerias shop, assist on tours, promote riding bicycles and our tours to people in Mexico and through various social media outlets across North America. We have teamed up with Velo Bike PV and offer Specialized bicycles as our brand that we use for the tours and rentals. Join us and explore the wonderful parts of Mexico. We have also developed a very popular weekly event called the Bici Bucerias Food Tour. It's one of the most talked about tours in the town. We have 5 stops including a quiet cafe, a coffee roaster, a made-fresh-daily juice bar, authentic local taco (beef or pork) and shrimp / fish tacos with a little ceviche on the side. We cover the 4 corners of the town, get postcard views of the 'backside of bucerias' along with picturesque backdrops of the Sierra Madres.

I was responsible for creating a premium based experience on bicycles. Modifying existing tours, focusing on a more profitable approach & training of staff on how to check, size & clean the fleet. A challenging high season gave us the opportunity to address concerns which are not common like flooding & forest fires in the area, and how to overcome these obstacles. A fantastic season

Introducing wines from small producers originating in France, Italy, Germany and Spain into the Calgary market. Working with boutiques shops, craft restaurants, open minded corporate teams and experience driven private groups to pass on the stories of the people who put the juice in the bottle.

Educating small groups with intro beer basic education, providing a tour through our facility and getting a chance to showcase our beers and let people pick their favourites to enjoy. The introduction of the Barracks Room in the back has been a great venue for smaller, private events, weddings and board room meetings. Fantastic for the summer months

Providing both education and entertainment in the world of sipping. Glasses full of wine, cocktails, spirits, beer and anything else delicious that has a story are what we're looking for. Listen to stories, learn about products and pass this info onto others with an empty glass. The goal is to remove the pretentiousness that often accompanies a few sips and maximize the satisfaction of the experience inside the glass.

I have a fascinating role of creating cocktails. Re-creating, modernizing, learning the history and origin, and straight away constructing new experiences in a a glass are all the exciting part of what http://justcocktails.org is. I work under contract with International Cellars to represent various parts of their portfolio at Wine Shows, Festivals and In-store tastings around Calgary. It was been a great transition from the retail side of wine into the representative side of it. Continually learning and gaining an understanding of more wines and producers and being able to pass on those stories to the public

WCWC was created to create customized wine apps for restaurants. With feedback and input from sommeliers, we are able to re-create an interactive menu that pairs your drink menu with your food menu, is done on electronic devices at the table, and can be downloaded on personal phone apps. It a fantastic way to heighten your dinning experience and enjoy technology to do so.

I inform people daily of the new technology that exists to protect their homes, families and pets from emergencies that happen in their home. It's an amazing 2-way voice system which is very similar to how ON-STAR works in vehicles. It was a very challenging and educational job with much experience in direct sales. This was a contract position designed on a seasonal work schedule.
