Helping organizations find innovative and exciting ways to restore aquatic habitats. Over the past 20 years, I've practiced water resources engineering in watersheds across the country, with a focus on surface water systems in Washington, Oregon, and California. My expertise includes conducting technical engineering analyses, leading conceptual through final designs, and providing engineering support during construction for various fish and wildlife habitat restoration projects. Restoration partners include non-profit organizations, resource management agencies, land trusts, conservation groups, federal and state governments, municipalities, and private organizations.My technical experience involves preparation of detailed designs, technical specifications, cost estimates, and construction plans and schedules. I have also conducted hydrologic, hydraulic, geomorphic, sediment transport and water quality analyses to support restoration projects. Recently, I've completed final designs and provided engineering support during construction of several large tidal wetland and floodplain habitat restoration projects along streams, rivers and estuaries in the Pacific Northwest.
