City of Baltimore Conduit Division-Assisted BCDOT in comprehensive review of Conduit construction contracts.-Assisted the City of Baltimore Department of Transportation Division to implement various data capture efforts for conduit infrastructures.-Managed and executed the georeferencing of a historical backlog of Conduit System Utility Plans in ArcGIS.-Proposed and developed a Project Layer database to house all captured assets from the georeferenced Utility Plans.-Digitized numerous assets into the Project Layer database.-Leveraged Cityworks and ArcGIS together to track DOT work, understand associated costs, establish and streamline workflows, and schedule field crews to validate assets.

The Office of Asset Management is responsible for optimizing the service life of sewer and water linear infrastructure through the development and implementation of proactive inspection and preventative maintenance programs. The Office implements a strategic approach to managing these assets at a sustainable cost and an acceptable level of risk. The Office aims to transition the Department of Public Works from a reactive mode of asset maintenance to a proactive mode, utilizing risk-based planning and other asset management principles to make sound decisions on managing its assets.
