Corporate Claims Manager
CurrentIndirectly supervise and motivate all employees, managers, supervisors, and departments with regards to Compliance Issues, Policies & Procedures, CAAS Accreditation Maintenance, Safety/Risk Management, Infection Control, Education, and CQI• Act as the designated Privacy Officer in accordance with HIPPA• Act as the Company Security Compliance Officer regarding confidentiality and integrity of personal information collected from and about company employees, consumers, and vendors• Act as a consultant to the Operational Departments with regards to formulating quality improvement strategies for deficiencies within their departments• Amend and maintain company operational procedures, policies, and standards. Direct company planning and policy-making committees• Evaluate performance of executives for compliance with established policies and objectives of the company and contributions in attaining objectives• Monitor, evaluate, and recommend changes to existing procedures and systems to improve employee performance, efficiency, and morale• Perform in-house audits of company grounds, office facilities, and vehicles; recommends and implements action for correcting health and safety deficiencies; help implement strategies and programs to insure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety standards• Develop programs to train employees in safety and accident prevention; assist in safety training of management personnel• Review and analyze company accident reports. Oversee the administration of the Workers’ Compensation program• Oversee New Hire Orientation and Training• Maintain company OSHA logs and reports• Order, stock, and present for Licensure all new fleet ambulances• Promote the company through written articles and personal appearances at conferences• Represent the company at legislative sessions, committee meetings, and at formal functions• Serve the community as a paramedic to fill open shifts and special events as needed
