I’m Curtis Morrison, a graduate of Portland State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration: Finance, earning a 4.0 GPA. My academic journey included rigorous coursework in financial modeling, valuation, data analysis, and project management, which has equipped me with the skills to approach complex business challenges with a data-driven and strategic mindset. I’m particularly passionate about leveraging market research and financial analytics to drive impactful business decisions.During my tenure as a Customer Associate with the City of Hillsboro Parks and Recreation (March 2021 - August 2024), I consistently delivered exceptional service while addressing billing, membership, and financial inquiries. I also had the opportunity to lead initiatives that improved staff communication strategies and led to increased sales. In addition to my customer service role, I went beyond expectations by administering life-saving CPR to a patron, showcasing my ability to act decisively under pressure.In parallel with my studies and work experience, I’ve also honed my entrepreneurial skills. From 2019 to 2022, I managed a successful project specializing in the arbitrage of premium shoes and clothing, generating approximately 400% return on investment. This venture refined my skills in market research, strategy execution, and identifying profitable opportunities in dynamic markets.Looking ahead, I am eager to apply my expertise in finance and data analytics to roles where I can contribute to business growth and innovation.
