The Trade Council collaborates with other organizations with similar goals and facilitates the sharing of common business interests between United States and the continental African markets. We also organize meetings and international trade shows to give maximum business exposure to our members.As Director of Programs Management and Legal Affairs, my role includes:- Provide tactical support to the organization on all aspects of the Trade Council's internal and international programs, organizational management and finesse, legal affairs and policy issues. - Help oversee and coordinate the various projects of US-AFRICA TRADE Council and other strategic initiatives across the organization.- Facilitating communication among a program’s cross-functional team o Coordinate the projects and their interdependencies. - Initiate and set goals for programs according to the strategic objectives of the organization. o Ensure program operations and activities adhere to legal guidelines and internal policies. - Keep senior management informed with detailed and accurate reports or presentations.- Responsible for the development and management of the International Programs department budget and monitoring of spend. - Works to ensure impact, knowledge and learning from programs are communicated and made accessible to target audiences.
