- Our projects & applications ranged from pipelines, oil & gasfacilities, mines and landfills. My main clients were Husky,Suncor, GCS, Detour Gold & Pembina.- Submitted invoices and kept on top of late payments.- Reviewed estimates, contracts then createdschedules and started a path of construction.- Created folders for the supervisors which would contain sitespecifics contracts, LEM’s, JHA, schedules, maps, & anyother information needed to finish the job with the bestsafety & qualify possible.- Create digital panel layouts using Active Takeoff &AutoCAD.- Worked with fabrication and helped to ensure thatdesigned liner’s and containment solutions were created.

Sourced out the best cost on membranes, geosynthetics,concrete, excavation and carpentry when needed.- Broke down detailed drawings so that the field crew couldunderstand them easier.- Confirmed daily work force burn rate and issued changeorders when slow production was at no fault of ours.- Kept a watch full eye on contractual versus additional work.- Observed field operations and made helpful suggestions tosafe out work areas and increase production.- Organized flights, travel, accommodations & equipmentlogistics- I was an excellent liaison between the field staff, client andowner.- Frequently visited clients, inspectors and consultants tomake sure all QC and Safety matters were addressed.

- Was a part of 2 large project, the base and infrastructure of the cross irons mills mall & the Enbridge/Cenovus tank expansion.- Red Book entries, Excavation & Backfill photography, Documentation and QC control. - Manage, Coordinated & supervised all the excavation and backfill of a $22 million-dollar pipeline & tank head expansion.- Prior to construction I was a part of 3 site visits and planned for all site logistics for equipment, employee’s & lay-down area.- Helped with the path of construction with our partner company Whaler Industrial.- Supervised & Coordinated for the Cross-Iron Mills Mall. - On the Enbridge pipeline, I oversaw the health and safety of 10-50 employees. And there was 30-100 including sub trades on the Cross-Iron Mills Mall project.- Estimated for change orders, out of scope work & design changes.- Communicated with engineers and key stakeholders to ensure all permits and approvals were submitted promptly - Maintained a construction schedule & managed the progress billing of sub trade contractors. - Sat in for promotions and disciplinary actions with this superintendent and human resources. - Performed land surveys and kick off meetings to two large rail service projects.

- Projects: The underground pipe and infrastructure for Fort Hills, Aurora Mine relocation, Celenese plant shut down and pump exchange.- Stayed on top of equipment maintenance, and materials.- Entered P6 progress and creating a path of construction with all subcontractors.- Reviewed on-site work and confirmed that product turn overs were being built as per drawings, specifications, code's and ensured that all finishes are to the company’s and customer's standards.- Hired, released & promoted all field and fabrication employees.- Supervised all excavation, backfill, pre-fabrication of pipe, installation of pipe & coating of pipe. - Coordinated and over watched the construction of concrete and structural pump locations.- Trained field foremen on the competency testing and supervising for equipment operators. This would include Side-booms, Dozers, Excavators, bobcats, Zoom-booms & Packers.- Did visual qualification inspections on fitment, welding, sand blasting, coating.- Created a template for the field foremen to keep track of backfill & compaction procedures. - When needed I performed morning safety & tool box meetings with all 3 clients (North American, SK & Suncor) & with the KBR field crew’s.- Organized daily achievements and nightly welding x-ray audits.

- Erected buildings, Bridges, and other various infrastructures projects. - Projects: Kelowna bridge build and demolition, BCIT expansion, City of Vancouver tenant improvement at crossroads, Vancouver international airport A–B connection, Merritt forestry site, HWY 97 expansion.- Kept track of equipment, tools, FLHA’s, Time sheets.- Interviewed operators, carpenters, laborer’s and help make decisions of who to employ and lay off during the slow seasons. - Drove crew truck to remote locations from camp or hotels.- Coached and mentored safety & efficiency. - Finished both Journeyman carpenter and Iron worker apprentices.- During the weeks I went to school, I would get up early to drive crew members to the jobs sites, then go to school and after school I would go the job site to lock up, to percentage take offs and drive workers home.
