As a master at biolife I am trained in all areas of the plasma center. My main job is to makes sure that the center is running smoothly through all phases and to make sure daily tasks are being performed properly and on time. The Master position is a leadership role and we make sure the center is opened and closed properly everyday, as well as make sure all employees get lunch and break each day. The three phases of the center I am trained in are Medical History, this is where the donor checks in to donate. We perform a fingerstick and take vitals to make sure they are eligible to donate that day. The second phase is where Phlebotomy is performed and we draw plasma from the donors. The third phase is Sample Prep, this is where we take samples from each donors plasma, and also spin blood samples to send in for testing.

Sioux City, Iowa Area

Assisted the plumbers digging ground works on new builds. Operated small back hoes and skid loaders. Performed finishing work on new builds that the Moos family was building for rentals. I also assisted with the installation of heating and air conditioning systems in these new builds.

Moorhead, Ia

Performed welding and fabrication as contractor at the BPI plant in Dakota City Nebraska. The welding was primarily Tig welding. As a contractor we performed repairs in the plant as well as fabricated frames and piping to be used in the plant. We also worked fabricating and installing equipment and piping to go in the new edition BPI was building. While employed there I operated several different types of fork lifts and operated overhead hoists.
