• Critical responsibility is managing and leading MasTec Network solutions safety program in accordance with federal, state and business requirements.o Oversee five safety managers located throughout the East Region in implementing MasTec’s safety program which focuses on efforts to ensure program and OSHA compliance is met by employees and sub-contractors.o Develop, implement and deliver MasTec’s safety training programs within the East Region through “train the trainer” and direct oversight of implementation. Training covers critical aspects of the tower business such as fall protection, rigging and capstan hoist as well as numerous other safety related items that are contained in OSHA guidelines. Approximately 45% of time is spent training or coaching internal employees and external sub-contractor staff.o Ensure the safety program’s random site safety observation objectives are being met by field personnel.o Coordinate OSHA reporting requirements.o Manage NATE’s star initiative program and serving as MasTec’s representative to NATE (National Association of Tower Erectors)o Develop and train direct reports.

• Communicated with and assisted the relevant Project Manager (PM). • Independent contractor working on Crown Castle project involving compound mappings within the San Antonio and West Texas regions. Scope of work included submitting all related documentation and photos.

• Supervised tower crews on “co-location sites” while performing equipment additions and decommissioning of wireless telecommunication sites.• Performed AT&T maintenance, lighting, bid walks, pre-cons. and some structural modifications. • Participated in Clearwire’s build-out /upgrade project in Tampa and Jacksonville Florida, markets.

• Handled the completion of upgrades and troubleshooting the 3+1 gigabit network with Nera in Kingston Jamaica for Digicell. o The scope of work also involved installation of dishes and path alignments.o Worked on Compaq and Evolution series radioso I provided training to local crews in tower climbing safety and rigging. o I provided training to local crews in pathing and integration of equipment.

• Responsible for East coast projects.• Initiated customer communication from a business development, sales and operational stand point.• Responsible for new builds, tower modifications (monopoles and SSTs) and co-locations in Florida and New York. This included applying for permits, planning and scheduling of construction activities and supervisory support of crews. • Also managed change orders and closeout process as appropriate.• Managed T-Mobile maintenance contract in central FL.• Maintained safety and training within the assigned regions for in house and sub-contractors’ crews.• Attended bid walks and followed up with clients on a regular basis. Additional responsibilities included monthly and weekly billing projections.• Reviewed crews’ daily timesheets and expense reports.

• Worked on AT&T projects in the following markets: Houston Texas, Birmingham Alabama, Miami Florida, Jacksonville Florida, Orlando Florida, and Tampa Florida markets. • Participated in the fiber-tower microwave backhaul project in the Tampa market. • Assigned General Foreman duties when required which included daily supervision and scheduling of 5 crews in the Central Florida region.
