Throughout my time pursuing my mechanical engineering degree, I learned the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the engineering field. I have gained both soft and hard skills through my experiences. I have excelled in the topics crucial to being a good engineer such as: fluids, dynamic systems, heat transfer, design processes, and computer modeling. In addition to these hard skills, I have learned how to cooperate with and work as a team, doing various group projects as well as co-leading many trips outdoors. The leadership, communication, and management skills I have learned through UB's Outdoor Adventure Club are paramount in being able to work with others. These non-technical positions have helped me to strengthen my communication, professional, and organizational skills. With a passion for both automobiles and the outdoors, I hope to succeed in a career path where I can combine my passions with my work. The end goal of achieving such a thing is what drives me to do my very best.
