Responsible for designing a circuit path across the company network with an enhanced knowledge and understanding of the network architecture and routing configurations. Within the design responsibilities, accountable for producing an accurate design layout record that applies a proficient understanding of the products and their specifications offered by the company and the scope of work requested on a customer order meets the product criteria, as well as having in-house parts/equipment available for consumption and delivery to the end user. Responsible for writing and solving for process and procedural gaps, and bringing closure to problematic orders.Essential Duties * Designs and provisions customer, network, dark fiber, and collocation circuits including on-net and off-net basic routing network configurations. Creates layout records and maintains data integrity of inventory record consumption. * Initiates capacity requests and tracks for completion based on deployment commit date. * Validates orders for information accuracy based on internal company product ordering specifications. * Manages individual daily workload in alignment with revenue and customer commitments across multiple orders, systems and processes. * Owns and resolves all issues and related problematic activities against assigned orders. * Assists in process documentation and provides training and guidance to new hires regarding processes, equipment, network architecture, and facilitates issue resolution.

Operates as a vital member of the TOC Engineering staff, overseeing local technical operations for FOX23 (KOKI) & UPN 41 (KMYT), as well as for multiple digital streams to remote stations in Wichita, KS –KSAS KAAS & KMTW & Bellingham Washington (KVOS-multiple digital streams). In this role, I am currently responsible for downloading programming from various digital servers, processing and sending back out via WANCasting. Also for building and set-up of remote and local station’s playback logs, transmitter logs, setup & download of sat feeds, data entry, downloading programming, then subsequently tagging in/out-points for programming, etc. Most media/programming worked via NexGen digital television software, Pathfire, PitchBlue Media Server, MIJO (Canada), etc. Also responsible for working with engineers during troubleshooting of various equipment & software failures. Responsibility for maintaining light and video levels across WANCasts. Experience with switching live breaking news and weather cut-ins, also responsible for switching on-air signal to and from network and local programming via Phillips switcher. Previous (many now defunct) servers used for this were Vyvx Ads, Pathfire, DG Systems and DVX. Also involved in the production of live newscasts, working with digital disk recorders, experience with dubbing and playback on various videotape formats including beta, Mini-DV, VHS and S-VHS. Responsible for satellite uplinks, downlinks, microwave and Vyvx fiber transmissions, as well as linear editing, shading of studio cameras and maintenance of transmitter readings. In addition to this, experience operating Excel, Word, and most other Windows-based programs.

Responsible for programming and maintaining two separate video streams, which entails controlling the video signal for KWMJ and Golden Eagle Satellite Company. Also responsible for digitizing commercial spots into and building play lists for the Avid Airplay server, as well as running programming via the Phillips/Alamar automation system. Responsible for satellite downlinks, as well as maintaining transmitter readings. Experience with most videotape formats, including beta, beta SP, MII and VHS.

Experience with breaking news, also responsible for Switching on-air signal, operating and maintaining Odetics cart server, production of live newscasts, working with digital disk recorders, experience with various videotape formats including beta, beta SP, MII, VHS, S-VHS, 3/4, 8mm and 1 inch. Also responsible for satellite uplinks, downlinks, microwave and fiber transmissions (Vyvx), working with Grass Valley switcher, running videotape and switching for 5, 6, and 10pm newscasts, editing (beta), studio camera, camera shading, dubbing commercial spots from Vyvx Ads/Cyclesat and DG Systems, as well as inputting programs into Odetics system. Additionally, experienced with operation of Angis, First Alert, and StormWarn computer sytems as well as other Windows-based programs, maintaining transmitter readings, etc.

Ensured the television master control personnel met the operational performance goals for the department and Broadcast Services. Operated all equipment associated with the master control system. Trained and supervised all Master Control Operators, ensured operator proficiency, and was primarily responsible for creating, maintaining, and ensuring compliance with Master Control standard operating procedures
