Solving challenges and providing solutions is my passion. I have always been an imaginative individual with great communication skills which drew me to join the engineering world. I knew studying engineering would expand my knowledge and help fulfill my curious nature. I started my career at General Electric as a Quality Engineer and it reinforced strong decision-making, clarity in workmanship and provided numerous positive techniques from a variety of role models. The risks and challenges this position provided only flared my desire for growth. I was then asked to assist as a Project Engineer in a one year large multi-million dollar project which strengthened my project management skills while meeting the company's stretch goals. It was a thrilling experience and once successfully completed I transitioned into a leadership role at my most recent employer Trouw Nutrition. Combining all of my previous experience, at Trouw I was a Plant Manager leading employees, controlling budgets and implementing process improvements.
