"Life has a certain flavor for those who have fought and risked all that the sheltered and protected can never experience" ~ John Stuart MillI just graduated from University of Mississippi with a Bachelors in Finance with a Minor in Management Information Systems (computer software and some hardware). I am looking to break into the finance industry through financial analysis. My end goal is Private Equity. I believe the possibilities are endless when using businesses as investments and doing the due diligence and valuation are the language of the transactions.I grew up on a farm and am no stranger to hard work. I am a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, who leads me to be trustworthy, honest, and calm in stressful situations.I graduated highschool and after a 3 day break, starting work with CECO Pipeline Services LLC in the Cypress District, the SouthEast portion of the United states. Decided that I would find a way to make a living locally as being gone was not going to give me what I wanted out of life. While working out of town, I saved every penny possible in order to pay off a truck and prepare for the expenses of college.Started taking classes at Jones County Junior College and worked as a band manager to pay for tuition. While at Jones College, I worked for Bradshaw Aviation and was a math tutor. This was a small aviation shop run by Barry Bradshaw at Pine Belt regional airport (PIB). Barry shut down the shop because of a job promotion at Jones College. I worked over the summer building fence with a former covington county Deputy Sheriff Cotton Stevens. I then went to work for David Sanford's Shop at Hesler-Noble Airport (LUL) in Laurel, MS. I expanded my experience to work on a variety of aircraft at this shop.At this time, I finished at Jones and moved to Oxford to attend the best business school in the state according to my research. I then started working at uBreakiFix repairing damaged phones, tablets, and computers. I worked here until school required my full attention my senior year. This was also the first time my parents had to help pay for school. I then graduated, debt-free. I was contacted by the owner of uBreakiFix once I graduated asking if I would like to be the shop lead. He offered to give full authority over the team and shop along with capital to change the appearance, introduce new products, or other alterations to boost sales as I saw fit. I declined in favor of moving back home near family.
