Acquisition engineer for the Permian and Williston basin. Use reservoir engineering and data analytics to determine value and target areas for development. Working with software development and data analytic team based in Cairo, Egypt to develop software and processes to increase workflow and improve valuation. As a senior reservoir engineer, I lead multi-disciplinary teams in multiple different projects. My main focus was exploratory reservoir studies in the South Powder River Basin in Wyoming. Leading a team that included regulatory, EHS, geology and multiple field personal. We successfully executed a 2 year muti-well project that has positioned the company for future expansion in the area. While leading this team, I was responsible for economic evaluations, decline curve analysis, forecasting and SEC reserve estimation. I built a CMG model of the reservoir and ran the simulation. I used analogous fields to help evaluate our area’s potential. I had to evaluate competitor data from public sources to help guide our program. I also designed multiple studies, including a pressure build up test and a 16 well Design of Experiment test to optimize completions and spacing. During my time, my economic evaluations of the field lead to us increasing our acreage position by 100%

As a production engineer, I was responsible for over 400 wells in the Wamsutter field in Wyoming. In this role I worked with multiple field personal. I was responsible for the operating budget as well as the production forecast. Working with the field personal, as well as regulatory, EHS and contractors, we were able to increase our production while staying within the capital requirements. I coordinated multiple sub-contractors to perform maintenance work on wells, and managed the projects to make sure they stayed within budget. I spent a lot of time in the field working with the operators. I used real time data to evaluate and optimize well performance. I also lead a team in the design and construction of a waste water disposal facility.My secondary responsibility in this role was as the completions engineer for the area. I designed and called over 300 fractures including 70% CO2 fracs. I was responsible for the design as well as the execution of the hydraulic fracturing and the coordination of the execution with multiple vendors.

In my first full time role with Anadarko, I worked with a team that included a reservoir engineer, production engineer and geologist. I was responsible for designing and overseeing the hydraulic fracturing of wells in Utah. In this role I designed and lead a study on the effects of limited entry perforations. This test lead to the change in the overall completions practice in the area. I was also responsible for cost estimation and interactions with the service providers.
