I am a University of Baltimore grad with a passion for IT and Audio Visual Technology. Ever since those years as a work study worker for University of Baltimore's Office of Technology and Services, I gained an interest to know more about IT, computers and Audio-Visual equipment. This spark lead me to opportunities at both Greater Baltimore Medical Center and Aramark Hospitality Services as an AV Specialist. Currently I graduated from Per Scholas as Valedictorian with both my Certificate of Completion in Network Support, and Google IT Support certificate. I am also COMPTIA A+ certified. Thus, I am preparing to join the field with confidence and foundational IT knowledge. Through my previous experience, I am capable of troubleshooting and managing AV equipment such projector displays, audio control/mixing, polycom/conference call setups, and using Crestron touchscreen systems. troubleshooting simple networking issues. As for IT, I am applicable to build and manage PC’s through its firmware, hardware and software, and troubleshoot simple networking issues. This has aid me to serve Aramark’s high profile clients such as John Hopkins, and push one of their conference centers forward with my suggestions to their AV and interior renovation over 80,000 dollars in budget.I am always determined to finish projects either solo or as a team for any field I take. In my free time, I volunteer as a team member for my church’s video ministry. From both high school and this ministry, I learned how to edit, shoot video for TV, stream footage online, and cooperate and developing plans with a team. This helped me understand the importance of a team, and enlarge my communication skills in a more effective and precise manner. Therefore, through many trial and error years of practice and education, I gained experience and understanding that has driven a "I'll figure it out" mindset, but I'm also humble to ask a team member for help.It will be an honor if you view or contact me through my LinkedIn for any networking, advice, tech resources, or opportunities to be offered.
