I have experience in the sports industry by working for the Tacoma Rainiers where I have learned how to interact with players, coaches, and team personnel. I have also been able to learn more things about the baseball from those people and have built relationships with people. I have learned first hand about all of the behind the scenes work it takes for a baseball team to play every day, how hard the travel is, and has strengthened my work ethic. Outside of this hands on experience I have had, I have been able to gain the perspective from an administrative point of view as a high school and middle school Athletic Director. I have learned how to balance schedules for multiple teams across both the high school and middle school levels. There have also been many difficult situations that have been great learning moments from me. Taking on that large task has been a fun challenge, but every moment has been an opportunity to learn. I have also had to stand up for my student athletes, making sure that they get the recognition that they deserve for their performance on the field or court. It was not easy to speak up at first as a 20 year old, but I have grown in my confidence since then. All of these experiences have helped me grow, and I have loved all of the learning that I have done, and I look forward to continuing to learn and grow in my knowledge and skills.
