Supervised a team of 10 soldiers providing touch labor support to over 2,000 customers across four military installations in the Stuttgart Metro Area Network. Configured and managed Cisco Routers and switches, General Dynamics/ Harris cryptographic devices and Thrane and Thrane BGAN terminals to provide secure VPN access to the USAFRICOM network to provide the Executive staff with Command and Control while in Europe, the United States and Africa. Tested potential Fly Away Kits to ensure products provided the needed security and capability in remote locations and provided recommendations for purchase. Tested software installed on legacy systems to ensure the software was completely functional with Windows 7 operating system and new hardware platforms. Managed and maintained the Entry Point for remote tunneling into the headquarters’ Local Area Network by managing the cryptographic material and entry point configurations. Achieved and maintained the Communications Team’s system accreditation for Fly Away Kits completing and maintaining the DIACAP.
