Served as volunteer firefighter, liaising the partnership between True Vine and local first responders and securing funding for new department resources.

Lectured survey classes on American History, World History, and US Government. Conducted primary and secondary research to support faculty theses and contribute to the advancement of the university's academic standing. Restructured the Julia Tutwiler archive collections to enhance accessibility to specific information for students and the public.
